A resin-bound surface is only as good as the build beneath it. So you know exactly what you're paying for, here's the specification every Terralume quote is written to — no fine-print surprises later.

Stone sizing is supplier-neutral and chosen to suit your blend; final depths are confirmed on site against your base and intended use.
We check the base first
Resin-bound goes over a sound, prepared base. At the assessment we look at what you've already got — existing concrete, a tired aggregate drive, or bare ground — and tell you honestly whether it's ready or what prep it needs.
Cure times you can plan around
Touch-dry and walkable in roughly 6–8 hours, ready for a light vehicle in about 24–72 hours, and fully cured at around 7 days. We'll give you realistic dates so you can plan access and parking.
Permeable, done properly
Laid over the right permeable build-up, the surface lets water drain through rather than sheet off — kinder to your garden and to local stormwater. We'll tell you up front if your base can deliver that, rather than overpromising.

How much does a resin-bound surface cost?
It depends on the area, the condition of your existing base, your chosen blend and access to the site — which is exactly why we don't publish a single headline rate that turns out to be wrong for your job. After a free on-site assessment you'll get a fixed, itemised price in writing, so you know precisely what you're paying for before anything is booked.
Is the quote really free, with no obligation?
Yes. The site visit, the measure-up, the real stone samples and the written quote are all free, and there's no obligation to proceed. We only book your install once you've seen the fixed price and you're genuinely happy to go ahead.
How soon will you get back to me?
We aim to reply to every enquiry within 1–2 business days. Your message is read by the same local crew who'll quote and lay the work — not a call centre — so if your job is time-sensitive, just say so and we'll do our best to bring your assessment forward.
Can you lay over my existing driveway or paving?
Often, yes — resin-bound can go over sound concrete or a suitable prepared base. But it has to be the right base, so we always check it on site first. If your existing surface needs repair or a new build-up, we'll tell you honestly and include it in the quote rather than discover it mid-job.
Do you only work in Geelong?
